The Dining Room
Our spacious dining room is the idyllic spot for the larger Christmas sit down feasts or office Christmas party.
With our three course feast fit for a King and Queen (in this case, Santa), sensational sharing boards, festive drinks packages and signature festive cocktails, we guarantee everyone will think you’ve sleighed it.
Finish the night off with a whisky nightcap, or perhaps a boozy coffee, before heading upstairs for a cosy night stay in our hotel bedrooms just above the pub.

Tucked away at the back of the pub you’ll find our beautiful semi-private Aldenham Room. With its open fire and beautifully decorated Christmas tree, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy both festive feasts or the annual office knees up.

Perfect for more intimate get togethers, the snug is set just off the bar, guaranteeing the buzzing festive atmosphere you can only get in a traditional British pub at Christmas.
With it’s grand inglenook fireplace, this cosy space perfectly lends itself for reminiscing over the last year with family and loved ones whilst hugging a spiced mulled wine, clinking glasses to 2023 with your friends or seasonal cocktails and sharers with colleagues.

Stay with us during the fabulously festive month of December and enjoy a one-night stay in one of our super-cosy bedrooms, a meal in the pub (it’s foodie season after all), and a hearty breakfast the following morning. And because it’s that tempting-treats-and-tipples time of year, we’ll make sure there’s a special little something waiting for you on arrival.
With 13 comfy bedrooms to choose from, you’ll avoid missing the last shenanigans to catch the last train home (and probably falling asleep on someones shoulder too).
